Asheville -- April 9, 2026: A Tuesday afternoon emergency response ended in a multi-vehicle collision that sent three people to the hospital and stopped downtown traffic for several hours.The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on April 8 at the intersection of Patton Avenue and Otis Street.
