Rabies Vaccine Bait Drop Begins in Western NC to Protect People and Pets

Western North Carolina -- April 5, 2026: Press Release North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services - Starting in April, wildlife officials will be dropping rabies vaccine baits in western North Carolina to help protect people, pets and wildlife from rabies.
