Asheville -- November 20, 2025: The Ingles Southern Conference Basketball Championships (Men’s and Women’s) will remain in Asheville for another decade, following a monumental 10-year partnership extension announced yesterday by the Southern Conference (SoCon) and key local entities.
The agreement solidifies the Harrah’s Cherokee Center-Asheville as the tournament's home through 2035, building on a legacy that has already spanned a combined 26 years in the Mountain City (1984-1995 and 2012-Present).The announcement was the result of a collaborative effort between the SoCon, the City of Asheville, Explore Asheville (powered by the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority), and the Asheville-Buncombe Regional Sports Commission."Most Significant and Stable Partnership"SoCo
