Haywood County -- September 29, 2025: Haywood County Government announced the addition of lifesaving equipment last week on social media:
All Haywood County Schools are now equipped with lifesaving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) thanks to a special effort by Haywood County Health and Human Services’ Public Health Services Division.We were able to provide AEDs to the four schools that didn’t already have one — ensuring that every single school has these vital devices on hand in case of an emergency.AEDs can analyze heart rhythm and deliver a shock if needed, helping restore a normal heartbeat.
